Hydraulic conveying systems
Hydraulic conveying systems rely on dissolving powders and granulates directly at the feeding point. They thus avoid the operational problems of mechanical and pneumatic conveying systems. Firstly, the energy used is not just used for conveying but also initiates a pre-blending process, which saves energy in later production stages. Secondly, the expensive measures required by ATEX guidelines do not apply to the construction and operation of hydraulic conveying systems.
| Areas of application | conveying all kinds of pumpable liquids |
| Industries | drinks industry, milk industry, foodstuffs industry, luxury foodstuffs industry |
| Typical applications | conveying syrups, concentrates and liquid raw materials such as milk or liquid intermediate and end products in drinks production |
| Construction | food-grade design |
| Operating characteristics | highly energy efficient transportation; the conveying system also serves as a pre-mixing system |
| Safety | unlike mechanical and pneumatic conveying systems, there is no need for ATEX-approved construction and operation |
- conveying distances of up to 30 m
- capacity up to 50 t/h
