Miteco at the Dubai Drink Technology Expo
From 6–8 December 2009, Dubai will host the Dubai Drink Technology Expo (DDTE), the most important international trade fair for non-alcoholic drinks in this established growth market. Miteco will have its own stand at the trade fair, where it will present its plants, technology and system solutions.
Following on from the very first Expo in 2008, the second DDTE promises to become the most important forum for the drinks industry in the Middle East, Far East and North Africa. Sales of soft drinks and other non-alcoholic drinks are increasing at a remarkable rate in these regions. As the run up to the trade fair gets underway, Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of the Arab Asian Beverage Meeting (AABM), estimates that the trade fair will not just attract participants from the local area; around 10,000 expert visitors are also expected to attend.
‘The DDTE has a strong focus on advanced process technology for the manufacturing and processing of drinks and liquid foodstuffs’, says Angelo Cadeo, General Manager at Miteco. ‘Miteco has been a pioneer in this field ever since the company was founded, and has developed and implemented innovative processes in extremely reliable and economic plants and applications.’ As an example of the innovative dynamic of the company, Miteco will display a model of its Radial Jet Mixer, a product that has played a key role in many mixing processes.
The company already has a number of good contacts in the region and Miteco expects a positive response to its presence at this year’s DDTE, similar to the tremendous success it recently enjoyed at drinktec 2009.
